uplink 1.55 on feisty?

i followed all the old procedures to get uplink reinstalled in feisty. the game seems to run fine save for a black screen. i hear the sounds but i can't see anything. does anyone or has anyone tried to install uplink on feisty or has it running that can lead me in the right path to get this game back? thanks in advanced.

Funny...searching for a reinstall brought me to you...:) first off, what's your GPU (graphics card)? More that likely, it's a reinstall for you my friend...and the latest version is 1.54 for Linux...make sure your D/L is not corrupt.

And after that lecture, yes, I am running it on Fiesty...it runs super swell on an Intel P4 2.8 with Intel D865GLC integrated graphics :) Check those things...I'm sure one of them is your answer..
