I'm trying to play the brilliant game Hearts of Iron 2 in Cedega, but every time I attempt to start a game, it crashes to desktop.
On the Cedega forum I found this thread, where a solution is presented: adding a few lines of text to a config file: http://www.cedega.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1749
However, when I start the game after editing the file, it still crashes, and when I open the config-file, it has been changed back the way it was before I edited it.
Does anyone have any suggestions to how I could solve or bypass this problem? Perhaps some settings for Cedega I could try, or perhaps some way of protecting the file so it won't be changed?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
edit:
Never mind, a helpful guy at Paradox' forums helped me. If anyone else encounters the same problem, here (http://www.europa-universalis.com/forum/showthread.php?t=228261&page=1&pp=25) is a guide on how to get it working in Wine.
