I am posting to say hello again. I have been pretty much absent from these forums for quite some time. I don't know if it was the the apathy caused by my system working perfectly, or the time I have spent learning OSX, but I just haven't had a lot of time for forums.

Are the regulars from a few months ago still around? How is Breezy coming along?

Also, could we get some more people in #ubuntuforums on freenode? I miss you guys. :(

I'm still here, but I don't use GNOME any longer. It's E17 for me now.

Neat. I really can't get much enjoyment out of anything but gnome myself. I am glad others have choices that better suit their needs since Gnome does not.

Can't say I am a regular poster, but I read through atleast once a day. At any rate, welcome back. I will try the IRC channel sometime, maybe now.

Yeah X is broken, no restricted modules, gcc versions all over the place. Fun Fun Fun. The devs are going to have fun stabilizing breezy I suspect....

Hey Zenwhen. Good to have to back....when you switched to OSX it seemed that you wouldn't need forums anymore (the problem with "just work.")

As you can see, I'm here plus they made me a mod. I can't wait for Breezy...but I'm a little nervous too. Ubuntu has grown so fast that a bad release could be worse than no release at all....Breezy is WAY more unstable than Hoary was at this point. It can be fixed...but the pressure is HUGE. We can't afford to have a Fedora Core 2.

I know you are a big Gnomer so let me ask: what is something you miss about Gnome in OSX? Please don't say "nothing."

Poof

P.S. OSX is cool, I posted this from my sister's new Powerbook. In fact, as it is I really like the way how the new skin////////release of Windows is turning out. The future of computing sounds neat.
