open a command terminal in windows type "telnet" hit enter then type the letter "o" hit enter then type "towel.blinkenlights.nl" hit enter again and you will see the entire starwars episode IV in the terminal. very weird but I tried it and it works

I'm failing to see how a server anyone can access using telnet is a Windows XP easter egg... You can do it with any operating system.

Thank you for sharing this with us. How did you figure this out?
I tried it in Winblows 2K and it said that the connection to the host was lost.

What? This isn't an easter egg. This is a telnet. This has nothing to do with windows xp.
