That cool, and impressive.
I am actually thinking of a similar project, however I plan to integrate applications into the live Ubuntu cd, for people at work to run linux apps without installing anything.
So either, I will trim down the existing apps in the live CD to make room or make it all on a DVD.
Anyone tried this, or have any ideas.

How about installing ubuntu on your usb thumbdrive??
