LOL! No kidding, I think the whole world is disappointed by Vista. It took 5 years to make a mediocre upgrade. Anyway, this should probably be in the Vista section...
The article's a bit old btw.

I work in Tech Support, and Vista has caused a ton of calls coming in. Thank you Microsoft once again for continued job security.

That's a pretty inaccurate statement.
A more accurate statement would be ".....mediocre, overpriced and requiring too much specific hardware upgrade."

Hehehe. I was trying to be tame, your corrections are of course more accurate :).

I knew that was going to happen before Vista was released. And I still say Vista is the beginning of the end.

Have any of you tried Vista yet? If you did you would probably have an entirely different view on it like me. Honestly, i think MS have put alot of work into the OS and i like it - its really usable, and for me quick, stable and looks 100 times better than ubuntu. And btw, this is a vista discussion thread, you are flaming and distrobashing which are against the rules of this forums - please take this elsewhere.

From the subforum title:
Discuss the Windows operating system here. Please do not use this as a bashing area.Thankyou for the article, but it seems there can't be any discussion without bashing Microsoft/Windows.
I also remind people that "funny" spellings such as "Micro$oft" or "Microshaft" are not funny. They regularly remove any credibility you have and cause people to ignore your post.
