not enough free space

how many free space wubi installer really needs to work? i have 4.15gb free space and it still says "not enough free space. at least 4gb are required". i have vaery small partition and i cant delete anything more for free space :/

I don't know the specifics with Wubi, but there will need to be more than the quoted 4Gb to allow for formatting. At 4Gb you wont have much space for an install, with all software. Have you considered a distribution that allows you to more carefully configure what is installed - have alook at distrowatch (http://distrowatch.com/).

Perhaps look into the Alternative Ubuntu CD.
