Sorry to bring an old topic up but this was all i could find to do with this error :( I have ubuntu 7.10 and wine 0.9.49 and it doesn't work at all, i just keep getting this error :confused:

Try uninstalling it completely, and follow the wine appdb instructions on getting it to work (click (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=5391)). How does it go after those?

Also, I guess this thread should be moved into the new Wine forum!
