I dont think theres an easy way to get it working in ubuntu, if you tell us what your objective is (as in why you want to do this) somebody might be able to suggest an alternative way :)

You could try using VLC, this page (http://www.linuxtv.org/v4lwiki/index.php/Streaming) should help

I am converting my server from fc2 to dapper and would also like to get Helix Server or alternately RealServer 7.0 running. Both do the same thing. Both will load but no streaming video., clients that go to the server just hang on port 7070.

So what are the problems with running Helix on Ubuntu?
Is there a better way to server rm files under Ubuntu?
