um... other forums have an option to list your posts. I think it's more convenient than having to lookup your post in search or look for a profile of yourself, or having to subscribe to every thread your interested in.
Incidentally, you could chase down somebody else's posts using "find all posts by this user" in their profile, but I can't find my profile without first looking at a post of mine. Any help?

You could just bookmark the LINK (http://ubuntuforums.org/search.php?do=finduser&u=29487) to your posts, or those of others.

You already know you can get to a list of your posts by viewing your profile, but did you know viewing your profile is as easy as going to the bottom of the forum home page and clicking on your name in the alphabetical list?
It's not as easy as having a link to view your profile, and I know that's kinda what you're getting at, but you shouldn't have to look all over for a link to your profile-- It's just right down there.
**EDIT**
Oh yeah-- If you're signed in, your name will always be the first on the list at the bottom of the home page, making it even easier. Hope this helps...

+1 for making it easier to see my own posts.
There is a link for seing private messages, which is far less useful.
The box with "Welcome, lassel", You last visited blah blah blah.
Should contain at both a link to my profile and to my posts.
This really annoys me every time I visit.
