Ok, I tried a few different light setupt and fiddled around with the textures a bit and here are some results...(Sorry for the small pics, I didn't want to spend ages rendering an unfinished product).

So far I like the second and third ones best.
I'm going to do the final product in 1280x1024, but if anyone want's a different size please request it and I'll do it (The highest I'd go is 3200x2400).
I'll post a thumb. of the finished thing before I do the final render.
Feedback and advice welcome.

I like the second one, maybe the colours could be a little stronger.
Looking good, though :)

The colours don't look strong because they are reflecting the light from the lamp (Which is white making the colours lighter. I'll move the lamp around a bit and see what that'll achieve.

Good stuff..
I would love to be able to do something along the lines of my avatar in blender.......sadly though, my penguin and dice attempts were so bad i put the idea off for a while.
One day though:)

I had to abort the 3200x2400 render process, because it was taking waaay too long....it would've probably taken me about 15 hours (I'll do it again when get more RAM in a few weeks), but for now I'll have to stick with the 1280x1024 version. I also changed the light setup a bit, so now it looks even better.

Ok, so here it is. I had to clean it up a bit in Photoshop (a bit of noise), but overall I'm happy about it.

That looks really awesome! Good job. How long have you been using Blender? Any good tutorials you'd mention, perhaps?

Thanks. :) ...I've strarted using blender at the start-mid May (So about 2 and a half months ago). I found the wikis quite useful.
There are lots of them, but this one's quite good.

Thanks.
Here's another I did with a different light setup. ...And I'm still getting that noise. Does anyone know how to prevent that?

I recommend you to find some tutorials on environment lighting, when object is lighted by an image.
1. Save file
2. Go on shading > texture buttons > press World button> press Add New button.
3. Then select Texture Type: Image.
4. Load some hdri/hdr environment image. Find some on web.
5. Go on shading > world buttons > Map to tab
6. Turn on Hori button.
7. Use some material with reflection for object.

Those are great! I touched up the third one in the first batch a bit, I think it's better colours now...

Nice! That can't have been easy! I'm going to try a few in Bryce 5, see how they turn out.
