Check the page again, this thing has the older B3 stepping. Wait till all the B3's are sold out or else go somewhere and get th G0 stepping. :)

I saw a 'combo' that struck me as odd on tigerdirect:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3208221

What struck me odd was when you read down regarding the mainboard:

This high-performance motherboard is so durable and reliable that EVGA has the confidence to back it with a Lifetime Warranty

I have NEVER heard of anybody offering lifetime on a mainbord

If you want the G0 stepping, go to clubit.com

That is all they are selling

Hi,
Its a good deal.I too heard some thing great about Intel’s Core 2 Quad Q6600 for the past few days.
Intel’s Core 2 Quad Q6600 offered the best value for money out of all of Intel’s range of processors. Gaming isn’t an area where the higher-clocked dual-core processor really makes a telling difference because gaming performance in today’s games is ultimately limited by the graphics card installed in the system.Based on the Intel Core microarchitecture, the Intel Core 2 Quad processor delivers four complete execution cores within a single processor, delivering unprecedented performance and responsiveness in multi-threaded and multi-tasking business and home use environments.:)
