Customizing AWN?

I've seen a lot of desktops on these forums where AWN has a glassy bottom on it. How exactly did you go about doing this? I'm stuck with a boring black background when I run compiz-fusion.

I can add icons into the tray as well right? I just loaded it last night and haven't really had a chance to play around with it yet.

yeah you are able to add icons
and launchers by simply dragging
and dropping them onto the awn bar

the glassy effect you have
seen can be achieved by modifying
the awn settings in the "gconf-editor"

-open a terminal
-type gconf-editor
-browse apps - avant window navigator

as far as i remember there must be some
options like bar_angle and icon_offset
just set bar_angle to the value 45
and the icon_offset to 18

then you will have some pretty nice reflections on your bar :cool:
