Problem to install GTK Wifi

Hello,

i have problems to install the latest Release here are my screenshot during installation, i knew that one python-package is missing but i where can i get it ?

the package which is missing, is called: "python2.4-gnome2-extras"

root@technix01:/tmp # dpkg -i gtkwifi-1.08.1.deb
Wähle vormals abgewähltes Paket gtkwifi.
(Lese Datenbank ... 62795 Dateien und Verzeichnisse sind derzeit installiert.)
Entpacke gtkwifi (aus gtkwifi-1.08.1.deb) ...

gtkwifi hängt ab von python2.4-gnome2-extras; aber:
Paket python2.4-gnome2-extras bereitstellt, ist nicht installiert.

Abhängigkeitsprobleme - lasse es unkonfiguriert
Fehler traten auf beim Bearbeiten von:

First you have to enable the universe repository by following the instructions here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/AddingRepositoriesHowto
Then in the terminal run: sudo apt-get python2.4-gnome2-extras

OK, now I have installed these package and version 1.08 then I have started it with:

gtkwifi run-in-window

performance of notebook goes down and the applet appears but no networks are seen only my card in the third tap of the application under preferences

and the network connection is broken, then i have to kill the applet, de- and reactivate the device wlan0

i did not use ndiswrapper. i use driverloader from linuxant for my dell truemobile wireless card.

any ide

try version 1.08.1
if you're really using 1.08 that should fix your problems

i already use the latest release 1.0.8.1, the same result, i think it could be the driverloader from linuxant which generates the problems.
