dapper 6.06 lts question

I've read that dapper will have long time support, but I see many programs (like php5, firefox) dont have the last version, my question is:

Will dapper will be stucked in those versions: php 5.1.2 or firefox 1.5 .... until june 2009 or 2011 or is just a strategy, to have very stable proben software, and eventually will upgrade.

It will have those versions, with bug fixes and security vulnerability fixes until it is no longer supported.

The next LTS release is slated to be in less than a year. You will be able to upgrade from Dapper to it when that happens, and it will have the latest version of those apps.
