I just upgraded to an AMD 64, reinstalled Ubuntu, tried to get ndiswrapper working, got up to the modprobe bit, and dmesg complained that I was trying to use a 32-bit driver on a 64-bit platform - on the plus side, that's gotta be the very first error message I've ever had clearly tell me the problem.

Anyway, I managed to find a version of the Broadcom drivers (used by companies such as Asus, Belkin, Buffalo, Linksys, Microsoft and Sitecom) compiled for 64-bit platforms, at http://ubuntuforums.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=186, thanks to Linuxant (http://www.linuxant.com/driverloader/drivers.php).

Edit: WTF? I just realised the attachment's somewhere in this forum...
