There is a 64bit package for prc-tools for Feisty (http://packages.ubuntu.com/feisty/otherosfs/prc-tools), and there is one for Dapper (I looked in synaptic on my Dapper), and probably Edgy. If you need info if another package is available, search here (http://packages.ubuntu.com/)and see, if there is a AMD64 one, or it says ALL, its available.

yes, there is, I forget to say that, but what is missing are the dependences of the prc-tools; the core of prc-tools is not avaiable for 64bit; im talking about the packages: prc-tools-arm and prc-tools-m68k

same problem is with pose (emulator). i found its mentioned in bugtracker too so lets hope these packages will be available soon. for me its essential to have this so now i must reinstall with 32bit version :-(

that sucks, reinstall ubuntu, but it's the only solution if you are a PalmOS developer.

I dont understand why no one take care about this.

I'll try to compile all the needed packages for a 64bit PC. I'll just try.

If I have some news I'll contact u or post in this thread.

it seems 64bit system today is not so ready for using as 32bit, i read there is also problem with fglrx and few other things. pity.

pose should be recompileable with all patches found on sf.net, http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?atid=302189&group_id=2189&func=browse. but i didnt tried yet.

Hi

I'm running the windows version of pose (Palm Os Emulator) with wine.

You must run wine on the same directory of Emulator.exe.

The rom transfer utility isn't working, but everything else about the emulation is fine.

So, use wine to emulate windows and pose for windows to emulate palm os.

I'm using wine to run everything that isn't avaiable in gutsy 64, including the windows
version of firefox to work with java.

Don't give up your gutsy 64 when you can easily emulate the windows versions of your
favorite programs with wine.
