Hi...

This thread http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=224809 tantalizingly discusses the question of a cross-platform Calender/ PIM.

I wonder if there is a third party app (don't care if it is open source ATM or not - please don't flame me for this) which you folks may recommend as a PIM. BTW, it's gotta be 'free' as in beer!

I am moving into a new job and I think a PIM will be essential...so any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

if you will be using it for your job you may want CRM software to track client contacts etc. Several free online CRM clients are available that are OS neutral since they run on the net you just need a PC with internet access. In addition since they are web based you can access them from any PC anywhere as well.

Two I can think of
www.zoho.com
www.freecrm.com

hope that is of some use

Thanks. But I think I would prefer one which works offline too since I may not be able to connect to the net at will.

Wouldn't it be fantastic if I could use one app both offline and online?
