WoW crashes durring install

I'm new to ubuntu and I've been trying to install WoW with wine, and I've tried everything I could find to get it to install but it doesn't work. I can get the install to start but a couple minutes in my computer just shuts off without any kind of warning. Any help would be appreciated.

So I just tried to rip a CD onto my computer and discovered that the exact same thing happens, so I'm thinking that its not a WoW related issue but any help would still be appreciated

So its more of a general question then regarding hardware, may get an answer faster in a different section of the forum.

Is this the Drive you installed Ubuntu with or have you changed it since? If you managed to install the whole thing from it it obviously works.

Maybe you could just copy the contents of the WoW disks onto your hard drive.

Also perhaps you should flash the firmware on the drive to a newer version, made ubuntu like my DVD burner better.

yeah, it actually ended up being a loose heatsink causing my cpu to overheat and shut off :S
