Ok, I have a fresh install of Q3 like always, install a few of my favorite mods and away I go. I set my brightness up a lot, because the game is just wayyy too dark to see anything. Halfway through matches though, the brightness resets. In the setup menu, the slider is the same, but the screen is at default brightness.
Also, when I hit the tilde key to bring up the console, it acts like I'm at my desktop with a little picture of Quake 3 running. No way of getting back into the game, and the only way to fully exit when this happens is to totally restart my box.
