Because the Request Forum is -very- new. I didn't even know it existed until you started 'flooding' it ;).

Heh. That would take a while. I do _not_ volunteer for this. Not like I can do anything in this subforum anyways .

I have send a PM to the Moderators of this Subforum. There are 3 ... i think it isnīt impossible. In Fact i am a Admin of a medium Size Politicsboard in german Language and have a lot of years worked as Moderator on unixboard.de. And i can imagine what happens if there was no clear handling from the Beginning. ;)
Thatīs the Reason why i think better sooner than later. ;)
And BTW - there only 11 Pages of Threads in here. Couldīnt take longer than 60 - 75 minutes.

I'm not saying that it's not good to keep things, but this subforum is very new and you couldn't imagine how busy our mods' personal life can get ;).

;) I hope so too. ;) But better than they spend Time for a Reply was that they spend Time to move the Threads. ;)

Let me clarify...
I created a Bugzilla-like open-closed request subforum structure because I was afraid that some requests were getting buried by other more active discussions....
I don't feel it's necessary to move all the posts over. Note that there are over 400 threads in this forum. Just from now on, use the requests forum. This is how we handled the situation when we categorized the rest of the forums, and that worked quite well. Within a month, all the threads will fall off the radar, and we'll be happy.

It would help if on the front forums page the sub-forums were more obvious. It appears as only one forum with no sub-forums on the main forum page, and the sub-forums only become evident when you enter the backports forum. This could lead people to overlook the sub-forums.

You can make an official request on the Site Discussion forum, where you'll probably get some feedback by the people in charge of this,.

I've already talked to Ryan about this. He's "working on it" -- the little subforum thing needs manual editing, something I have no access to.
