I used it for 80% under GNU/Linux. The other 20% are KDE.

I think it is important to support small WM´s as well. And XPde has some nice Features and a smooth design. ;)

Yes that's what I want to know, wich features :? ?
I'm afraid I might get tempted way too much to press the Reset button everytime something freezes while using XPDE (the memoirs..).

It does not crash at my System at all. Maybe a bug in your Package ?

If its lite one the resouces and easy to learn and use in will probably go a long way with the Windows converts. I made a post on a game forum to see if they where interested in porting an old (still here today and kicking) rpg with 200mhz requirements to linux and got a reply that Linux is realy getting a large following because the old win 98 is no longer supported and you can't get 98 drivers etc. Many of them have older low end boxes that may not even run Xp well or just could't dish out a big chunk of money for an os that is getting very old. ANother nich is the old second box (for the kids etc) nich which this wm might fill in cery nicely
Eather way a low resource windows style (cough choke) might fill a big nich in an expanding and growing market expecialy if these people know its there.
I dont hate XP but I feal better knowing people have a choice If 5.04 came out about a year ago or so I wouldnt even have XP didn't like it when I had 98se and as it stands will will not have Longhorn. My computer usage todate consists of 95% Linux 5% staring at XP (maybe I could get flowers blowing in the wind XP screen saver to amuse me.)
Lastly this is amazing amazing for for those windows converts! Just what they need.

Are there Debian packages available?
I've used XPDE in the past, and it was very incomplete and unstable.

they still have no new version. The one from 2004 is really not matured yet!

We should invent some kind of application for Linux or even a linux distro that would be just like xp on the first day and would start turning into Gnome or KDE piece by piece after each reboot(of course the advice of the day would tell what waschanged and how to handle it)
