I have been trying to configure skype using http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=32063
But after going through this, now after ringing couple of times skype stops by saying Problem with sound device. But am able use it without any qualms with amarok.
Also when i try to test the default input device using gstreamer-properties by setting plugin to ALSA, it gives an error saying ALSA, could not open resource for writing.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
