First let me say this: i'm a noob at linux who was already very happy to get 3d working on his computer...
I installed some games from the games list in this forum, like TuxRacer. But i cannot find a shortcut or anything to it. How can I start the games i just installed?

command line:
Applications->System Tools->Terminal
On the prompt:
>> tux[TAB]
thats the tab key. On pressing tab you should get a list of all apps whose names start with tux. Then type the full name and press enter.

try looking in /usr/local/games for commercial games or /usr/share/games for open source linux games.
