[SOLVED] Xfire for Linux/Plugin for Gaim

I actually have GAIM and found the Xfire plugin for it. I dont really know how to install it becuase the installation guide it comes with is very confusing. I got gaim-xfire-0.6.0 and im not sure how to search the version of my Gaim. Anyway, like i said, i need help installing it. I already extracted it. Thanks.:)

Do note that if you download the DEB for Feisty you will need a Live / Alt CD if you have recently upgraded GAIM to Pidgin. For some reason the .deb that was just released for Gutsy / Pidgin doesn't work with Feisty / Pidgin and the previous release wants you to install the last version of GAIM.

Thanks for posting those links, Cappy. I've had a rough time getting Xfire to run with WINE (wine_gecko, etc), and I'm quite content to just have it run as a Pidgin plugin!

I get this error when I run it. Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: gaim
Can anyone explain this to me?
