ok, I decided to install Enemy Territory in both Windows XP and ubuntu, however everytime I download it for ubuntu I get a checksum error. Does anyone have a good download site to get it from?

My problem with finding a client without a checksum error was that I was constantly looking for the full 2.60, and I couldn't find anything working. Instead, I got the v2.55 client from http://www.ausgamers.com/files/details/html/6570

I then found the 2.55 to 2.60 patch from http://www.ausgamers.com/files/details/html/15900

They both worked for me, I hope that they will work for you. If not, I can only advise keep on googling around for Enemy Territory downloads.
