Bioinformatics software in Ubuntu

Hi
Where can I find bioinformatics software for Ubuntu?
Are there any bioinformaticians out here using Ubuntu?

I've seen that only Blast, ClustalW and Rasmol is available in the repositories (in the Science section).

If these are the only ones available, how come Bio-knoppix which is a debian-based distro come packaged with SO MANY bioinformatics programs preconfigured?

Im not a bioinformatician, but have you enabled extra repositories? (ubuntugude.org) They might have more stuff on them. If not you can always get the .deb package of the software you need and install that. Or if the worst comes to the worst, you can compile the program from source. So you'll be able to run whatever program you need under ubuntu.
