hello all

we decided to roll out our clients' enterprise apps on dapper drake server edition for the benefit of 5 year support.

now our apps make extensive use of postgresql version 8.2, but it seems that dapper's backports only cater for postgresql 8.1.

any idea if 8.2 will be added to the repositories? if not, is there a work-around? i've tried googling to no avail.

our options are: find a work-around to get postgresql-8.2 working on ubuntu 6.06 server, or change to a different (more recent) server release.

thanks.
