Hello,
does somebody actually know a vocabulary trainer (based on the Leitner-system) for Ubuntu/Linux that supports CLT (complex text layout, right-to-left writing) and Unicode, especially to use for Arabic or Hebrew? Maybe kvoctrain, pauker or granule?
thanx

I use jMemorize to help with Bulgarian verbs. It's based on Leitner, and supports Unicode. There are a load of hebrew lessons already on the website as well!

Yeah, but there are no instructions on how to make it work. Every search I do tells me what Granule is, but not how to make it go. I'm a literacy teacher, so I'd use it if I could get it running.

Not sure whether it meets your requirements but you could try Anki ( http://ichi2.net/anki/ ) which supports Japanese characters so it'll probably work for Arabic and Hebrew too.

There are instructions on this page on how to install Granule: http://granule.sourceforge.net/grapp_download.html.
