I'm sure we've all seen the Mac vs. PC commercials and I'm sure we've all noticed that the PC guy has a very professional appearance (Highly debatable) while the MAC guy is dressed quite casual. And for some stupid reason a lot of us tend to view PC and Mac users this way.

So what is the linux "fashion"?

Well, look at Richard Stallman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Portrait_-_Denmark_DTU_2007-3-31.jpg) and Quinn Storm (http://www.lulu.tv/?p=4346). That's what we all look like. If you don't look like that, you're not a real Linux user.

BTW, Are Linus and Jared the Subway guy brothers?

The problem is, Linux breaks down into all kinds of sub-cultures, based on which distro you use.

You'd have the Gentoo Elitist, wearing...whatever cyber-hacker wanna-be's wear, buzzed on jolt cola and red-bulls, with a shirt that says something hackerish and silly, like "I pwned ur mom"

You'd have the Slackware guy, who looks like an older, maybe middle-aged, bearded guy in brown polyester pants and white short-sleeve dress shirt...can't quite get out of the past.

Then you'd have the Ubuntu person/people. You'd have rows upon rows of regular Joes and Janes. They don't quite fit a stereotype, because Ubuntu doesn't quite fit a stereotype.
