Hi

I have been running PP around wine Version 0.9.36

After taking a longer break I tried again using 0.9.39 and as of yesterday 0.9.40, but run.
Using the icon on my desktop PP starts, but upon entering my username and PW it freezes.

Trying to start it from the console results in .. well.. nothing. No error, nothing. I just end up back at the console and can enter another command.

Anyone running PP after 0.9.36?

PS: please don't tell me to install Win (wont ever happen again) nor another Pokerclient. I have real money on PP and dont want to lose it.

Yes, I can play there using the webclient, but thats just half as much fun.

I'm not really sure, if running:

wine applicationname.exe

From the program's directory via a terminal returns NO output at all that doesn't give us much to go on advice wise.

Have you managed to run any other software with WINE?

Try running:

winecfg

Once to make sure wine is properly configured.

Yes, I play WoW daily, so that works.
I recently changed to the 64bit Version of Kubuntu, same problem.
And Yes, I get No output at all on the terminal.
