Hi! I am totally noobish to ubuntu lol. so can anyone plz help to install EQ2 if at all possible.

i couldnt get it to run 6 months ago with wine. But wine has been through some serious updates since then.
If ANYONE can get it to run. PLEASE POST a walkthrough/wiki :D:popcorn:

Can you tell me how to update wine? sorry to be a bother,but I am having a hard time figuring this system out, been on windows for so long.... Guess I got spoiled lol.\\:D/

KK. sorry to post another one so soon, however, I am able to install Vanguard on my Ubuntu system. don't know if this is common or not, just thought I'd add that and was curious what the difference is between installin vanguard and EQ2?:-k

You got Vanguard running?
One guys posted on the appdb that he had it working but I couldn't get it working on my machine. In .9.37 I was able to log in and fight without seeing the mob, now my FPS is so slow that I can't even do that no matter what I put for offscreenrendingmode
