Hello, I am looking for an open source solution for document management. It should provide user authentication to login from the internet. It should have search capabilities that allows for search inside doc, pdf and ppt documents (amongst others). It does not necessarily need to have version control features. Is there anything that does this in Linux?
Basically, I have documents from the past 5-6 years of client work that I want to leave behind on my home computer and be able to access them from a browser at the client site. I should be able to download the document if required, or search for specific content within them. In this way, I don't clog up my laptop but yet have easy access to any documents in case I need them.
