Hi,

I have unwittingly activated a Beryl effect that I find extremlely annoying. It's that when I move the mouse pointer outside of the window that is in the foreground, that forground window immediately becomes translucent. What is this effect called, and how can I disable it?

Thanks.

hey.. maybe this will help...
first step open Beryl settings manager
second step go to desktop (Beryl settings manager menu)
third step look at the settings be viewed at the picture

if something is different... it's maybe the cause of your problem...

Thanks, but it seems the setting I've activated is under the "window management" settings, not the desktop ones.

(But now I know how to make my cube transparent!)

I've realized what it is: It was the "opacify" option under the accessability tab.
