Issues with compiz after update?

Hi,

I've updated compiz today.... things seemed fine and I turned the computer off to go for an appointment...

After turning it back on I'm getting artifacts (especially in graphics) in firefox. Anyone else have this problem?

The abnormal cpu usage is related to beagle-helper... I'm thinking about disabling that and trying google desktop see if it makes a difference.

whats weird ... is that if I open the graphic up from the attached file... it looks even worse (lines across the whole desktop) than it does IRL...

I'm sure it must be image related... :(

Do you have Blur enabled? Disabling it solved a very similar issue on my system.

I haven't seen any more artefacts since this post ... I guess I should put fixed in the subject?

thanks for the tip.. I did have blur enabled once but not sure if it still is...

I'll give it a go if it rears its ugly head again :)

I usually dont stop modifying linux until the system doesn't boot anymore :-| LOL
