hello.
just a quick question about the game called cold war, ive just bought a windows copy, but was wondering if its possible to play it on ubuntu ? ive got doom3 and never winter nights installed (both windows versions) i used the loki installers for those 2 games, but i couldnt find a loki installer for cold war.
would it be possible to download the linux demo from linux game publishing and then copy the right files of the game discs ?
i have cedega and wine installed, but i would rather install it on the linux system rather than using wine or cedega.
cheers.

I don't think you can run the Windows version natively (but I could be wrong). Check Wine's AppDB to see if it will work with Wine: http://appdb.winehq.org/

it looks like no one has installed it through wine, ill give it a bash and see what happens, if it doesnt work, ill try cedega, shame it wont run like doom3 and such like, but i guess you cant have everything.
cheers

Because there is a Linux version of the game that you can buy ( http://www.linuxgamepublishing.com/info.php?id=24 ), I don't think many people would try running it in Wine.
