Im using Wine to run steam on my Ubuntu Feisty Fawn desktop.
Ive tried both Counter Strike Source and CS 1.6 . Both have the same problem. Sometimes i get into a server when i dont need to download many sounds and stuff, and i can actually play quite good for anything between 5 and 10 minutes, before it randomly crashes, and i cant do anything but do a hard reboot.
Sometimes when I connect to a server it will just hang when im download a sound or a map. I can move the mouse, but cant do anything else (like ctrl alt backspace), so then also i can only do a hard reboot .
My system is a core2duo e4300 on a Gigabyte DS3 mobo, with an ati x1950pro. Im using the ati fglrx drivers
