I've tried and tried but I still think it looks ugly / or could look better. Link (http://idea.opensuse.org/content/ideas/artist-driven-icon-theme-management). Overall I think the Tango theme is too round though I really like the idea and the effort.

If they'd only consider using the Still Life (http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Still+Life?content=22914&PHPSESSID=6) folder style instead (with Tango colours) it would help a lot in my opinion, especially for the smallest sizes.

What do you think?

It's not an issue of what I use personally just an opinion on how to improve the Tango set. I guess I should just email some of the Tango artists or find an IRC channel...

I switch around on icon sets on my GNOME install. I've seen nuoveTX and didn't like it much. I wish theturner would continue work on Still Life but the latest update was March 2006 so I don't hold my breath.

Here's some info on the GNOME and Tango icon sets by jimmac (http://jimmac.musichall.cz/icons.php).
