Custom login manager?

I was just wondering if anybody knows where a guide on making your own login (GDM) screen. I googled it and searched the forums, but could not find one. Links would be appreciated :)

I'm looking for the same thing. After getting Beryl set-up, I'm actually kind of bored in the graphics department.
