Has anyone been successful in getting a Linksys USB Wireless network adapter (model WUSB54G version 4) to work on an iMac (slot loading G3 350MHZ) running Ubuntu 6.06.1 (Dapper)?

Hello there,
I have the same adapter and I never got it to work under Linux.
There are no native linux drivers for it (at least there wasn't around a year ago) - and ndiswrapper wasn't working for me.(I was using a PC, not a Mac).
Sorry I can't be more help. I'm only replying because I spent a significant amount of time and effort trying to get it to work with no success.

Frisbee,
Thanks for the reply.
I was successful in using the WUSB54G v4 on a Gateway notebook computer (model mt6451) running Ubuntu 6.10 (Edgy). And that was with the native drivers. It would just support WEP not WPA encryption, otherwise it worked fine. So you might want to try it again with a later version of Ubuntu (6.10 or 7.04).
I was just hoping that I might get it to work on this old iMac. That way I could move it to another room without running cat 5 cable to it.
