Hi, Folks

I am in the market to build a new desktop PC and am thinking of something like this but I am not sure if this hardware is going to be Kubuntu friendly or not and as I will be running Vista ultimate which I may want to ditch for Kubuntu, I need to make sure the hardware is friendly especially the video card.
If anyone can recommend a friendly video card maker or suggest any changed, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Looking at some reviews on the GA-P35C-DS3R board it seems possalbe to install 7.04, however. most installs seem to make use of a sata dvd drive, however. that is not to say an ide drive can't be used.

The Dual core E6420 should be seen without issue.

The Gigabyte GV-NX76G512P-RH should work without issue using the nvidia-glx-new drivers

Thanks for the info.
I will look into that DVD drive.
Mmm, I need anew drive anyway and an SATA Drive was something I had not considered.
