This post could be related to an Ubuntu bug filed at: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/121609 . ---------------------------- . .
Hello everyone,
The Ubuntu Mozilla Team is a fairly new team in Ubuntu.
We are dedicated to provide ubuntu users with packages and support for mozilla applications. Among others we take care for the widely used firefox browser.
Our core tasks are in developing, packaging and triaging bugs as well as testing software before we backport/add to Official archives; further we constantly try to improve relationship with our upstream projects Mozilla and Debian. While our tasks are important and a lot of work its also plenty of fun and there is a lot to learn when dealing with mozilla packages. You can find more info on the Mozilla Team at:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam.
We need people to help out in the following areas:
Bug Triage
Fixing Bugs
Package Testers
Wiki Maintainence
Bughelper Clue File Maintainence
Quality Assurance
We offer mentoring in some areas, The list of mentoring areas is located at:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/~mozillateam/+mentoring
We have a mailing list that we discuss the ideas we have. The mailing list can be found at:
https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-mozillateam
We have a mailing list for bugs as well that can be found at:
https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-mozillateam-bugs NOTE: the bug mailing list is very high volume and is mainly helpfull and recommended that you join it if you are working on Mozilla Team bugs.
If this sounds like a team you would be interested in being a part of please read:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Membership
on how to join or you can get intouch with one of us at #ubuntu-mozillateam on irc.freenode.net. You can find the list of people to get in touch with below.
