This post could be related to an Ubuntu bug filed at: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/121609 . ---------------------------- . .
Hello everyone,

The Ubuntu Mozilla Team is a fairly new team in Ubuntu.

We are dedicated to provide ubuntu users with packages and support for mozilla applications. Among others we take care for the widely used firefox browser.

Our core tasks are in developing, packaging and triaging bugs as well as testing software before we backport/add to Official archives; further we constantly try to improve relationship with our upstream projects Mozilla and Debian. While our tasks are important and a lot of work its also plenty of fun and there is a lot to learn when dealing with mozilla packages. You can find more info on the Mozilla Team at:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam.

We need people to help out in the following areas:
Bug Triage
Fixing Bugs
Package Testers
Wiki Maintainence
Bughelper Clue File Maintainence
Quality Assurance

We offer mentoring in some areas, The list of mentoring areas is located at:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/~mozillateam/+mentoring

We have a mailing list that we discuss the ideas we have. The mailing list can be found at:
https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-mozillateam
We have a mailing list for bugs as well that can be found at:
https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-mozillateam-bugs NOTE: the bug mailing list is very high volume and is mainly helpfull and recommended that you join it if you are working on Mozilla Team bugs.

If this sounds like a team you would be interested in being a part of please read:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Membership
on how to join or you can get intouch with one of us at #ubuntu-mozillateam on irc.freenode.net. You can find the list of people to get in touch with below.

For a list of team contacts please see

Sounds neat, hope this works out. Now, an Ubuntu Beryl team. That would really be useful, since FireFox is pretty stable.

EDIT: Comp Comm team, I forgot they merged.

Just added the two lines for Feisty shown at: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/PreviewArchives to my sources.list file - I'm no programmer - If it crashes it crashes - Would like to help out in some way though but, as I said I'm no programmer just a regular user

Does this mean Firefox 2 for dapper?

There's no information on the packages mentioned in the subject.

salsafyren: the dapper repo has firefox 2.0 in it, dapper will get 2.0 when the 1.5 branch is at EOS.

ok uploaded granparadiso to feisty preview repos and 64bit is being worked on at this moment and should be up soon. updated thunderbrd to final 2.0.0.4 and firefox-trunk package was updated also.

We can use as much feedback as possible on the firefox-granparadiso packages in our feisty repo

Thank you

We are in the process of mocing from private domain to Launchpad PPA package repos.
I will update once we have packages set up correctly and ready for testing. Alot of the packages have changed some are no longer going to be packaged like they were, OUr main focus atm is firefox-trunk, firefox-granparadiso, new nss and nspr packages and xulrunner1.9, These packages will hopfully make it into ubuntu repos before gutsy release, I will still have Feisty PPA repos with sunbird, iceape, and firefox-3.0(aka granparadiso) Once i know more i will either blog on Planet.ubuntu.com or post here or both.

I have a question, why font in granparadiso looks different from that in Firefox2?
Thanks for the work, just got it from the new repo!
