I've started a new website call Try Linux (http://trylinux.ath.cx). It has info about Linux in general and about Distributions. It'll give you a good feel for what Linux is. For people who know a lot about Ubuntu, I would ask you become a writer on my website to help new comers pick Ubuntu as there Distribution.
I'm also trying to spread the word about Linux through button like Firefox. For those that has a website, blog, MySpace, Facebook, and or signature please put up one of my buttons to help direct new comers to a special page on my site that gives info about why you should pick the Linux Operating System and it's great benefits.
