Warning for new macbook owners

If you want to try out gutsy on a new macbook, install feisty first! I installed straight to gutsy as I didn't have any other live CDs and the madwifi driver appears not to compile on gutsy. It may work for other people, but the warning is there. Not that many people are as stupid as me :p

madwifi compiled fine here on gutsy. You just need to check for errors and install the missing packages or versions there of. The easiest way is to go through synaptic and install madwifi tools, gcc versions, and check for kernel packages. It may take a while to get it right. Upgrade first on the wire and it probably works.
A bigger problem is that network manager is broken as of latest update.
