I shouldn't think too much of the setup is hardware-dependent. If you've successfully configured your xorg.conf to your liking and are comfortable with that level of editing, I think your best bet would be to take a crack at it and search or post in the Multimedia forum if you still need help.

That said, please make sure to post if you find any Mactel-specific issues! :D
