Not so long ago,EA,one of the most famous game developer, has decided to port the latest Harry Potter game to Macintosh Intel-based chipset PC using Transgaming Cider (i guess). They also said that they will port their future games like Battlefield 2142,Need for Speed etc to Macintosh.

This is a sad news for Linux fans.Something must be done to prevent Linux(especially Ubuntu) from getting further defamed and making the Linux developer's hard work go worthless.

P.S:Sorry for the any typo you see in this topic.

I don't know about sad news for linux fans.....anything bad for windows is good news for linux. This is definitely bad for windows.

I'd also second what the OP is saying. We need more games. Doubtless, EA is going to be using OpenGL, which is one more step towards linux conversion.

Never knew about EA going OpenGL.
By the way Mac is also a competitor,if it gain points, then its bad news for both windows and linux.
