Soo, I designed an alternate Kubuntu logo and posted it on KDE-Look. I want to know what you all think!!!

I think thats really interesting. You should try to contact some of the Kubuntu people. If not Ill try to draw attention to it.

1 thing. Make the spaces in between the people parallel. The breaks in the ring.

it is much more scalable than the actual kubuntu logo. and that's a big point for me.

+1 to the parallel spaces

that's what I meant, use the kubuntu logo instead of the kde logo.

sorry my "actual" wasn't clear enough.

wow! even though i don't use kubuntu, this is awesome! it's so simple, but it looks so good! dang. i wish i were that good. :P

Due to popular demand, I added new versions with the spacing in between straightened and a version with rounded corners.

I like the middle one with the spacing straightened, but I don't like the rounded corners one. While it's good, the rounded corners doesn't fit with Kubuntu, as Kubuntu is not supposed to be "kiddy," if you will.

The second one is the best! And I don't even use Kubuntu!

I like it but I prefer the official kubuntu logo presently as it jives with the other _buntu themes. Although it strikes me odd that something like this wasn't the original idea as itself is a gear... maybe because the gear is broken? I think if the gear is to be used in this fashion that all of the teeth need to be the same height(like extending the smaller teeth). Nice Stuff.
