Conflict between Katapult and Beryl

I've found a minor cosmetic conflict between Beryl and Katapult. Katapult is a keyboard-based program launcher. When opened, it has it's own drawn shadows above the rest of the UI, but then Beryl adds an additional border shadow around that.

The effect goes away when I turn Beryl off.

Is there any way to disable Beryl effects on UI elements of specific applications?
