[SOLVED] Lmms

Hi all,

I learned everything I know about computers (which isn't a lot) on MS OSs... I switched because Windows is... well it's Windows...

I like Fruity Loops and found that LMMS is an alternative. I have Ubuntu Ultimate Edgy 6.10 (or something like that)... I went into the SPM and found LMMS, installed it, but being the noob I am, I can't find LMMS in the Applications menu...

Can anyone help?

PS. I get this every so often with other programs I try and install as well...

You can make launcher.Right click on applications>edit menu>sound&video(I belive that is the place for your app)>new item

1. name =LMMS
2. command =you can browse to find exacutable but in most cases they are in usr/bin
3.icon =usr/share/icons or usr/share/pixmaps

If nothing else, Ubuntu far out weighs Windows with the help from all of it's users.

if you want you can make a activator with an icon on your desktop or in your Applications folder. and another great alternative is Ubuntu Studio, i use both lmms and ubuntu studio
