I have installed beryl, I have the wigglin lines but not the cube. I have a Radeon mobility m6 LY and I was reading some links to see if my card would do accelerated graphics. If you are typing in a terminal window what is the vertical line? Are they supposed to be forward slashes? I am new to Linux.Any help getting this cube working would be appreciated.

glxinfo | grep direct
If you get "direct rendering: yes" your card should work... hope that is the answer you were looking for...

So, do you have beryl working? And what do you mean by "wigglin lines" Do you mean the wobbly windows effect is working? if so, then beryl is working, and the question is: what happens when you hit CTRL+ALT+left arrow or CTRL+ALT+right arrow? If this doesn't rotate the cube, then this can likely be fixed in beryl settings manager. If by "wigglin lines" you don't mean the wobbly windows effect is working, could you explain what you mean?
Thanks.
